I tried loading the same session with no VE Pro, then inistated a new instance, re-routed all audio inputs, but now I cannot get the midi to go through to VEP server.

I shift-opened the session with all plugins inactive, and then activated the plugin one by one and found that it was VE Pro isntance that was causing the problem. When I load an existing session in pro Tools 12.6 that already has a VEP instance, the session does not load, and freezes when it starts restoring the aux tracks that recieve audio from VEP server. This has already gotten kinda long, but I hope it's helpful and I would recommend checking out what PFL and AFL do and what else you can do with mix groups and VCAs :)Īh and if you're on a PC, replace all "command" shortcuts with "control".I am recently having problems with VE Pro 6, not sure if it is after the latest update. The great thing about this is: Now you have a solo button for your group that will even work when the group is turned off! Yeah, it's an extra track, yeah it takes a little while to set up, but with the VCA and the aux track, you've got unlimited solo (and volume!) control :)

So if you solo your aux track, all tracks going into your aux are muted, which is obviously not what you want at all! So in order to hear all tracks going into your aux, you have to solo all tracks individually AND the aux track. Mostly, you'll probably have it set to SIP (solo in place), which means that everything else get's muted when you solo a track.
